Wayne A. Eastman, 85, of Sturgeon Bay died early Thursday morning (March 29, 2012) at Golden Living Center/Dorchester.

He was born September 15, 1926 in Waupaca, the son of the late Fred and Gladys (Wilkens) Eastman. Wayne served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a graduate of UW-Madison. On January 27, 1951 he married Patricia Andrews at the Episcopal St. Francis House in Madison, WI. Wayne served as Door County 4-H Agent for 30 years. He loved horses and enjoyed training, riding and showing Arabian horses. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sturgeon Bay.

His wife, Pat survives, along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five siblings, Eugene Eastman, Ruth Otto, Frances Peterson, Alice Trinrud, and Robert Eastman

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday (April 1, 2012) at Huehns Funeral Home. Friends may call at Huehns Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m.
