Harold Thomas Krusienski

U.S. Veteran

Harold Thomas Krusienski, age 95, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Golden Living Center/Dorchester Sturgeon Bay. Harold was born in Racine, March 7, 1917 son of the late Walter and Mildred ( Nee: Boden) Krusienski.

Harold graduated from William Horlick High School ”Class of 1936” and served in the US Army. On September 16, 1939 at St. John’s Lutheran Church he was united in marriage to Kathryn B. Reich who preceded him in death October 17, 2004. Harold was employed by Racine Unified School District retiring as head engineer. He also was employed with Johnson Wax. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed “putzing” around the house. Above all Harold treasured time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Lee (Pat) Krusienski of Hendersonville, NC; his daughter, Kay “Sue” Derrickson of Sturgeon Bay, WI; grandson, Ryan Derrickson of Sturgeon Bay, WI; brother, Chester Krusienski of Racine; 2 nieces, Gale (Tom) Haaksen, Joy (Gary) Vaillancourt of Racine; one nephew, Brian Krusienski of Chicago, Illinois other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife.

Funeral services will be held at MARESH-MEREDITH & ACKLAM FUNERAL HOME, Thursday, May 17, 2012, 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Daniel R. Feldscher officiating. Entombment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at MARESH-MEREDITH & ACKLAM FUNERAL HOME on Thursday 12:00 P.M. Noon until time of service.
