Marilyn Ann Doerr

Marilyn Ann Doerr, 81, of Fish Creek, WI and Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026 with family by her side.

Born on June 6, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Roy and Evelyn (O'Neil) Clark. A proud graduate of Pius High School, she went on to earn her degree in nursing from Marquette University. It was there that she met her husband, David E. Doerr. They were married on June 10, 1967 in Milwaukee and spent many wonderful years raising their family in Cedarburg, WI.

Marilyn was a true social butterfly who found her greatest joy in the company of others. Whether she was playing golf or tennis with her circle of friends or hosting a gathering, she was the ultimate entertainer who made everyone feel like the guest of honor. Her happiest days were spent gardening and boating either in Naples, FL or Door County, WI. We will remember her as a mother, wife, and friend of immense grace.

Marilyn's greatest legacy is her beloved family. She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Kelly (Doerr) & Matt Carroll of Inverness, IL; David & Shelley Doerr of Franklin, TN, and Laura (Doerr) & Kenneth Juhasz of Sonoma, CA; her grandchildren, Meghan Carroll, Ryan & Nicole Carroll, Mackenzie Doerr, Cameron Doerr, Jakob Binnings, Isabella Doerr, Kathryn Juhasz, and Sarah Juhasz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Evelyn Clark; and brother, Patrick Clark.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Stella Maris Parish-Fish Creek site, 4012 State Highway 42, Fish Creek, WI 54212 with Fr. Matthew Rappl officiating. Burial will follow in Blossomberg Cemetery in Peninsula Park, Fish Creek.

Friends may gather at the church on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Marilyn's memory to Marquette University High School - Marilyn Doerr Scholarship Fund (3401 W. Milwaukee Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53208; or online at muhs.edu/giving/give-now).
