Marcella was born April 24, 1934 in West Jacksonport to the late August and Lydia Caroline (Herbst) Bley. She attended Farview School and graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1952. On May 19, 1956 she was united in marriage to Donald J. Giesseman at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in West Jacksonport. Don died on May 24, 2008.
